Serverbyt Review 2026: My 1-Year Real-World Test of India’s Budget Cloud Hosting
I have found this server very cheap as compared to other Indian web hosting company. One issue is that they don't have contact number however they have a quick support through tickets and chat.
For a full overview of the hosting providers I’ve used and evaluated, see my Web Hosting Reviews Guide.
After 12 months of running three live websites on Serverbyt—including a portfolio with 200+ images, a small eCommerce store, and a Moodle learning portal—I had enough real-world experience to evaluate the service. I paid ₹999 for the Blaze plan after a ₹300 discount and tracked uptime, support, and website performance during my initial testing.
Since completing that 12-month test, I’ve continued using Serverbyt and expanded to 10 hosted websites. This review combines my original testing with my ongoing experience, so you can understand how the service performed during the initial test and how it has worked for me since.
My Serverbyt Experience: 12-Month Test and Ongoing Use
I moved from Hostinger Cloud Hosting after experiencing crashes during Diwali traffic. I needed affordable hosting with unlimited websites, so I started looking for an alternative and found Serverbyt through a WhatsApp advertisement, I discovered that it uses StackCP instead.
Here’s how my experience unfolded:
- Day 1: I signed up, and my Blaze plan was activated in 4 minutes.
- Week 1: I migrated three WordPress websites using UpdraftPlus, with zero downtime.
- Month 3: My WooCommerce store reached 1,000 visitors per day without any 503 errors.
- Month 6: I experienced 12 minutes of downtime due to a server reboot and received an instant credit.
- Month 12: My initial 12-month test was complete. I continued using Serverbyt afterward and eventually expanded to 10 hosted websites.

Serverbyt Performance Review: Real Speed & Uptime (My Live Test)
I actually host my main blog, BeingOptimist.com, on Serverbyt, I ran real speed tests instead of relying on theory or specs.
*GTmetrix test from Seattle (Chrome) on May 26, 2026 for BeingOptimist.com hosted on Serverbyt.*
GTmetrix gave the site an overall grade of B, with 85% Performance and 95% Structure. These scores provide a snapshot of how the site performed under this particular test; results can vary with the test location, page, and testing conditions.
The test also recorded a Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) of 1.4 seconds, Total Blocking Time (TBT) of 179 milliseconds, and Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) of 0.01. LCP and CLS are Core Web Vitals metrics, while TBT is a separate lab metric. In this test, the LCP and CLS results indicate that the page loaded its main content quickly and had very little layout movement.
For a budget-hosted WordPress site, these results are encouraging. However, hosting is only one part of website performance. Caching, image optimization, theme choice, plugins, and page design can also affect loading speed.
How the Serverbyt Dashboard Looks in Real Use
This is the client area I see when I log in to Serverbyt. It shows my Blaze plan for BeingOptimist.com, along with the usual billing and support overview.
From here, I can access the hosting control panel, manage invoices, open support tickets, and view my active products in one place. This keeps routine account management straightforward.
Real Uptime Data from My Site
I also monitor BeingOptimist.com with UptimeRobot rather than relying only on the provider’s advertised uptime figure.
The UptimeRobot screenshot shows 100% uptime over the previous 7 days and 30 days, with 0 incidents and 0 minutes of downtime during those periods. The monitor checks the website every 5 minutes. These figures reflect the periods shown in the report, not a guarantee of future uptime.
My Recommendation
I currently host 10 websites with Serverbyt. Based on my experience, it is worth considering if you are looking for budget-focused hosting with features such as free SSL, CDN, edge caching, and automatic backups.
If the Blaze plan fits your website’s requirements, you can check the current offer below.
Inside the Serverbyt Hosting Panel (StackCP)
When I click “Login to Control Panel” from my Serverbyt account, it opens their StackCP hosting panel for BeingOptimist.com. This is where I actually manage the site day to day.
This is the panel I currently use to manage BeingOptimist.com, and the interface groups everyday tasks into sections such as CDN, Web Files, Email, Security, Domain Names, and One-Click Installs.
Real StackCP panel from my Serverbyt Blaze plan – you can see CDN tools (edge caching, web optimisation), web files (file manager, FTP, backups), email tools and the full account summary for BeingOptimist.com in London data centre.
Serverbyt currently uses StackCP, which I found easier to navigate than traditional cPanel for routine hosting tasks: everything is grouped into sections like CDN, Web Files and Email, so it’s easy to find backups, file manager, FTP or email accounts even if you’re not very technical. Installing or managing WordPress just means clicking into the relevant icon instead of hunting through dozens of tiny menus.

Is Serverbyt good for WordPress?

-
Is Serverbyt Better Than Hostinger?
It depends on your needs. Based on my experience, Serverbyt is an option if you want budget-focused hosting with features such as CDN and edge caching. Hostinger may suit users who need a wider choice of server locations and more room to scale. For websites targeting India, Serverbyt’s built-in CDN can help deliver cached content to visitors closer to their location, even though the hosting server is in the UK.
-

Based on my monitoring of BeingOptimist.com, Serverbyt has been stable. At the time of my UptimeRobot check, the site showed 100% uptime over the previous 7 and 30 days, with 0 incidents and 0 minutes of downtime. This is my site’s monitoring data and shouldn’t be treated as a guarantee for every Serverbyt-hosted website.
-

Based on my experience, the Blaze plan offers value for bloggers, freelancers, and small business websites. I initially ran three live websites on the plan for 12 months and later expanded my use to 10 websites. Keep in mind that the renewal price is ₹1,299/year and the money-back period is 24 hours from the initial purchase.

Does Serverbyt have Indian servers?
No. According to Serverbyt support, the company currently uses UK-based servers and does not offer Indian server locations. If your audience is primarily in India, keep the UK server location in mind when choosing the hosting plan.
