My journey with Ezoic started well, but now it’s not going as well as it used to due to the following reasons:
Ezoic: From Promising Start to Present Challenges
Let’s have a quick recap of the issues that forced me to look for Ezoic alternatives.
- Origin error
- Hosting error
- Mixed content error
- Page loading time
- Core Web Vitals
- No support ticket for beginners and Level 1 publishers
As a result of these problems, I had to delete my website from Ezoic.
Expert Tips:
To smoothly remove your website from Ezoic, follow these steps:
- Nameserver: Replace your Ezoic nameserver with your current hosting provider’s nameserver.
- Cloudflare: Disconnect Cloudflare from your EZOIC account.
- Mediation: Disable mediation and delete Ad Networks once you have finally decided to leave this Ad Networks
- Google Analytics & Google Search Console: Unlink your Google Analytic and Google Search Console.
Note: Remove Google Search Console access by going to Search Console settings and removing granted permissions. - Google Ad Manager: If you have decided to end agreement with Ezoic then go to your Google Ad Manager’s MCM (Multiple Customer Management) account, click to EZOIC and then finally hit “End Agreement link” to discontinue.
- End EZOIC Premium Agreement: If you have an Ezoic Premium subscription, end the agreement. Note: A 30-day notice period applies.
- Remove Cards: After ending the EZOIC premium contract don’t forget to delete your credit or Debit card details or change with other credit card where you have no money.
- Uninstall Plugin: Uninstall and deactivate Ezoic WordPress plugin
Step-by-Step Removal Process
- Disconnect Cloudflare: This is the first step. Go to Settings -> Site Integration/Cloudflare -> Disconnect Cloudflare.

Now let’s see the step by step process of freeing our website from EZOIC grab.
Step By Step Guide: How To Remove a Website from EZOIC
Given below are the steps that I have performed practically to remove one my websites that is hosted on EZOIC platform. In case, if you have decided to remove your website from the platform you can mimic the below steps.
- STEP 1: Log in to your Ezoic account.
- STEP 2: Ensure your site is disconnected from Cloudflare by going to Settings -> Site Integration/Cloudflare -> Disconnect Cloudflare.
- STEP 3: Click on the domain name you want to remove. A list of your domains and a “Remove” button will appear.
- STEP 4: Select the website you want to remove.. Since I have three websites listed on Ezoic, So I will select one of them to demonstrate you the process of removing website from EZOIC. Once you choose the site, you will be automatically redirected to the selected website’s dashboard.
- STEP 5: Click the “Remove site” button.
- STEP 6: Confirm the removal in the pop-up window.
Note: Double-check that you are removing the correct website. If you accidentally remove the wrong site, you may need to go through the approval process again.
Conclusion
These are the six steps that you need to follow strictly, As outlined in my previous article, performance issues, including slow page loading times, persistent origin errors, and lack of Core Web Vital improvements, led to my decision.
